Description
The JS-OS jack socket refuge unit provides an emergency communications point where a portable handset can be plugged in for outgoing calls. Based on a 304 stainless steel front plate with IP54 protection, the unit includes noise‑reduction technology for clear audio and supports full‑duplex communication when used with the matching handset. It is designed for use in disabled refuges, fire escape routes and similar safety-critical locations.
The outstation operates from a 24 VDC supply and forms part of the same monitored radial bus as HF‑OS and TS‑OS/R units. Local addressing is set using a rotary switch, simplifying commissioning and maintenance.
