Studies show that one of the main causes of earplug back-out is incorrect insertion. When plugs are rolled down, there is often not enough delay in the expansion process to allow it to be inserted correctly, therefore causing Back-Out. XPand earplugs are manufactured from Slow Recovery PU, allowing ample time to correctly insert the plug before expansion.
