The Lonako LNK-LB-03B (Part No: LNK-LB-03B) is a critical safety device for commercial vessels, offshore platforms, and tankers. As an intrinsically safe (IS) device, it is specifically engineered to prevent the release of sufficient electrical or thermal energy to cause ignition of specific hazardous atmospheric mixtures.
This light is the Chinese-made equivalent to the Daniamant L161, offering the same high-tier certifications required by international maritime law. It features a “gravity-switch” activation system: once released from its bracket and tilted into the water, the light begins to flash a high-intensity white LED signal, aiding search and rescue operations during man-overboard (MOB) emergencies.
Supplied with a full RINA certificate, it meets the stringent requirements of the Marine Equipment Directive (MED) and is recognized by the US Coast Guard. Its 76-meter drop test rating makes it suitable for even the largest ocean-going vessels.
