Description
The UFS UT-16000(06) is a 6 metre wire rope retractable fall arrester designed for vertical fall protection where limited clearance is available. The unit uses a high-impact polymer casing to protect the internal mechanism from damage and harsh site conditions. A 4.5 mm diameter galvanized steel wire rope lifeline automatically extends and retracts as the worker moves, keeping fall distances as short as possible.
At the attachment end, the block is fitted with a UT-H11 hook incorporating a load indicator so that any fall event is easily visible during inspection. The anchorage eye on the block includes a swivel that helps prevent the wire rope from twisting during use. The UT-16000 series is tested and certified in accordance with EN 360:2002 for retractable type fall arresters.
